The Italian Shop now stocks Rocky’s Gelato
Every self respecting Northamptonian has heard of Mario’s or Gallone's ice cream but did you know Northampton has a third Italian ice cream maker.. Rocky’s Geleto is based at Newlands Farm in the village of Hannington just a few miles to the north of town.
Rocky’s Gelato is made using artisanal techniques brought over to Britain from Barga in northern Tuscany way back in the 1880’s and tastes "bloody gorgeous” as quoted by random customer !

You don’t have to jump in the car or find a time machine to get a taste of some genuine Italian Gelato, just pop over to The Italian Shop and get a tub or 2. Flavours range from Hazelnut Praline, Black Forest, Apple Crumble and Amaretto as well as good old Dairy but with a twist.. no vanilla additives !
